My name is Mike. Thank you for visiting my personal blog. In case you did not know, I am a soulless corporate monster by day, poor, broke hipster by night. I immigrated to Canada at a very young age and have grown up in Vancouver, and currently back-and-forth between my new home in Toronto.
I am not an artist.
I am not a photographer.
Nor am I a journalist.
I take photos using a series of Nokia phones and I write under a guise and persona where I only tell half truths and half lies. This blog has no true purpose other than a being an agent of chronology of my life’s events.
The sole intent of this blog was not meant for the public to view, but rather among a small group of readers and close friends. I should warn you in advance that the level of humuor and sarcasm on this blog can be disparaging. Not to mention the sophisticated level of grammatical errors and spelling mistakes. Please be assured that if you disagree with what I’ve said or I’ve offended you, make note that it was not intentional, but perhaps misunderstood. I believe everyone is entitled to their own opinion and you should understand that I am more than willing to agree to disagree. More so, my posts are not an accurate depiction of my true self. bcrdukes is simply an alias, a persona if you will. It will be obvious when I am typing something that is genuinely “me.”
You will find on my blog where I will share my interests, including but not limited to bikes, cars, coffee/espresso, travel, and pretty much anything Italian, especially when it’s an absolute piece of junk. That, and my affinity for hipsters – it’s a love/hate relationship. I love observing them but can’t help but ask the questions “Why?!” and “WTF?!” They’re an interesting bunch for sure.
While this may, or may not be a joke, but I particularly have an avid interest in girls named Jane, and girls from Macau.
If for some reason you want to contact me about a post, send me an email to bcrdukes at Gmail dot com. I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks and happy reading!
