Life Lesson Of The Year

2010 is coming to an end and quite frankly, it went by far too quickly.

The Vancouver Olympics (waste of time IMO) was over and done with in 2 weeks. Summer was barely around. The sun barely stuck around while Old Man winter took a shit on us late in the fall. Where the hell is he now? Jackass. I put my winter tires on for nothing, asshole!

Nonetheless, over the course of these 12 months were a wild ride. And if there is a lesson I learned…it’s this. Life is about compromises. Unfortunately, life isn’t Burger King. Reality is – You can’t have everything your way otherwise we’d be all living in a perfect world eating steak every day. That would be nice, wouldn’t it? Depending on how stubborn you are, at the end of the day, with all things said and done, there are no winners. Only losers. You either learn how to compromise or be miserable for God knows how long. I chose the former.

I suppose the other lesson is you should never sell yourself short. You have to be confident and believe in yourself and prove your self-worth. Of course, if you’re some scum bag social leech, then I can’t help you.

Last but not least, I have to stop being a douchebag. That and I’m going to miss my E30. Can’t win at life, eh?
