Warm Sunny Days…

…along the streets of Paris just outside Saint Lazare Metro. Cobble stone roads, people walking up and down the streets with their child and dog. Businessmen toting their briefcases and beautiful Parisian women with long legs.

A warm sunny day in Paris, I recall, sitting down at the cafe sipping on poison also known as French roast coffee, I wasted away entranced by this one jazz anthem by Koop and Astor Piazzolla - Vuelvo Al Sur - “I Return To the South.” Light high hat taps, snare drum rim shots, running bass accompanied by a French accordian, a cheezy electronic piano, and a happy go-by’er whistling away along the coast.

I love this song. Brings back some very wonderful days in my life. Those carefree days where I did as I pleased with nobody to hold me back, alone and away across the Atlantic all by myself. Smile and enjoy.
