Actually…

…I never mentioned whatever happened to my beloved Audrey – the 1983 Vespa P200E. I put her up for sale. I gave up on the project itself. It was just too much work and I had no time for it. I put her up for sale on Craigslist, the Vespa Club of Canada and also, the Greater Vancouver Vespa Riders Association. It was sold to a German fellow by the name of Roy, who goes by the username on the GVVR forums as, well, Roy. Audrey was sold in less than a day. Roy came over, took a quick look, and took her away on the back of his Nissan Pathfinder. At least I know Audrey went to a good owner and has a new home rather than sit in the garage collecting dust and rotting away in vain.

Audrey, it was nice having you around. I hope to see you again sometime in the future when you’re restored to your previous glory. :( However, in your place, I replaced you with Gloria, another Italian beauty! Dont’ get jealous! ;)

Hello…

…To another addition to the family – Gloria!

A 1978 Alfa Romeo Spider native to San Francisco, California. I found this beauty on Craigslist for $2400. Flew down to San Fran one weekend, took it for a spin and a viewing and I fell in love with her instantly. She’s not perfect – got a few parking lot dings here and there, old interior, a few engine hickups but other than that, for $2400, never could I get a beautiful running Italian roadster. I picked her up the week after and drove it down the I-5 down to Los Angeles. It was a brutal drive. There was no breeze, the wind was hot, and it was a baking 110 degree Farenheit. I suffered multiple sun strokes but otherwise, she overheated twice but made it down to Los Angeles safe and sound. She’s currently sitting at my aunt and uncle’s place in La Puente but when I find some time, I’m going to get her a new head gasket and then drive her back home. I love this car and I’ve never driven anything like this before. It even has some lady luck. The first passenger of this car since I owned it was my cousin’s girlfriend. :P

I’m now an Alfisti and proud to be one! Say hello to: Gloria!

Other Than That…

I realized some of my social wrong-doings and I’m trying to make up for them. That itself is a work in progress. Otherwise, Felicia was recently spoiled (yet again) with a tonne of goodies including a set of H&R coilovers and is going to be prettied up and showcased at the upcoming Driven To Perform Import car show again this year at the Epik Entertainment stage where all the hot girls will be at. :) Oh, and work sucks.
